Responsible gambling
We sell a tool for finding mispriced odds. It is still betting. Here is how to keep it under control, and where to get help if it stops being under control.
Need to talk to someone now? In Germany, call the free gambling helpline on 0800 1 37 27 00 or visit check-dein-spiel.de. In Austria, call the free gambling addiction hotline on 0800 20 52 42 or Spielsuchthilfe on 01 544 13 57. In a crisis, call Telefonseelsorge: 142 in Austria, 0800 111 0 111 in Germany (free, 24/7).

18+ only
ArbVantage is only for adults aged 18 or over, or older where local law sets a higher age for betting. You confirm your age when you sign up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under age, we close it. If you share a device with children, don't leave the dashboard signed in, and consider parental-control software.
Betting carries risk, even with arbitrage
Sure bets lock in a margin on paper, but real life gets in the way:
- odds can move between your first and second bet, leaving one side uncovered;
- bookmakers can void bets, cancel them for "obvious errors", or limit your stakes mid-way;
- value bets lose often by design, and losing runs can be long;
- accounts get restricted, which can strand money or leave positions unbalanced.
Only use money you can afford to lose. Never borrow to bet, and never treat betting as a way out of debt or as a reliable income. Our risk disclaimer explains the risks in detail.
Warning signs
Treating betting as a disciplined side project is one thing. It may be becoming a problem if you:
- spend more money or time on betting than you planned to, or than you can afford;
- chase losses, raising stakes to win back what you lost;
- feel restless, anxious or irritable when you are not betting or checking odds;
- hide betting from people close to you, or lie about how much you bet;
- borrow money, sell things or miss bills to fund betting;
- let betting crowd out work, sleep, family or friends;
- keep betting after you have decided to stop.
If any of this sounds familiar, take a break and talk to someone. Help is free and confidential. A short, anonymous self-test is available at check-dein-spiel.de (in German).
Healthy habits
- Set a fixed bankroll for betting, separate from money you need, and don't top it up after losses.
- Decide in advance how much time you will spend, and stop when it is up.
- Log every bet in the tracker so you see your real results, not the ones you remember.
- Don't bet when you are upset, tired or have been drinking.
- Switch off alerts outside the hours you want to bet, and take regular breaks; the opportunities will still be there next week.
Limits and self-exclusion
At your bookmakers
Licensed bookmakers let you set deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and time-outs in your account settings, and let you exclude yourself. Use them; they take effect even when willpower doesn't. In Germany, licensed online operators also have to apply a monthly deposit limit across all providers (generally €1,000) through the central LUGAS system.
Germany: OASIS
OASIS is the national player exclusion system. A self-exclusion blocks you at every licensed provider in Germany, including sports betting, for at least three months. You can ask any licensed provider to register it, or apply directly to the authority that runs the system; it doesn't end automatically, you have to apply to lift it.
Austria
There is no single national self-exclusion register for sports betting in Austria. Exclude yourself with each bookmaker you use, and ask one of the counselling centres below for help. The Federal Ministry of Finance lists free counselling and treatment centres in every federal state at bmf.gv.at.
Your bank
Many banks let you block gambling payments on your card or account. Ask yours, or look in your banking app.

Use licensed bookmakers only
Licensed bookmakers have to protect players: limits, self-exclusion, age checks and fair handling of your money. Unlicensed ones don't, and using them can be illegal where you live. In Germany, check the official whitelist of licensed providers published by the Joint Gambling Authority of the German States (GGL) at gluecksspiel-behoerde.de. ArbVantage only shows the bookmakers you tell us you already hold accounts with; it is your responsibility to use only operators you may lawfully use.
What we do
- We only accept adults, and we don't market to anyone under 18.
- We never describe betting as risk-free, a guaranteed income or a way to solve money problems, and we don't promise profits.
- We charge a flat subscription. We don't earn more when you bet more, we take no cut of your winnings and bookmakers don't pay us for your activity.
- The tracker shows your real results, losses included.
- We link this page and free help in the footer of every page and in the dashboard.
Leaving ArbVantage
If you want to step away, you can cancel your subscription online at any time, or delete your account in Settings. If you would like us to stop you from signing up again, email support@arbvantage.net and we will block your email address and payment card from new accounts, no questions asked.
